Visa in Guangzhou?

I'm planning a short trip to Guangzhou from HK, will most probably take the train from Hung Hom. I'm wondering if I can apply for a visa there (same as in Shenzhen). Any one who has applied for a visa there or will I have to endure first the long line at Wanchai visa office?

nope! Have just been. You have to have a visa beforehand - they dont have facilities at the train station. And yes - you either pay an agency to do your visa or enure lines in Wanchai I am afraid..
