Hi,
I have always suspected that buying foreign cash at the airport must be the most expensive.
Any recommendations where the best place is to get our Canadian holiday cash - we are buying in HKD.

Check with your bank if there are any machines you can use in Canada that don't charge the $5. I don't know about my bank here yet but I am Canadian but lived in Australia and there was a certain bank in Canada that didnt' charge the fee which saved me a few dollars.

I always use the exchange kiosks in Chungking Mansions. Use the ones further to the back, run by Pakistani and Indians. They give the best rates in Hong Kong. Don't use the first two booths as you enter, to your immediate left and right. Go towards the middle or further to the back. Bascially, if you see any South Asians in the booths, you gone to the right place!
