Being trying to obtain a credit card in HK, being told by a bank that they need to see 3 months of income going into the account before they will let me have one even though I have provided them with a letter from my employer as well as a copy of my work visa.


Did anyone else had the same trouble, can anyone suggest a bank where i can get a credit card without waiting 3 months? thanks

My wife got one from H**C in about month. No need for 3 months of salary. We transferred some money onto our account and had a letter from my wife's employer.

I applied a Cit...B Card, only a copy of my HKID and verbally what my income is for th year... And I had gotten me a platinum card... No verification proof what so ever...
