I am wanting to buy some dehumidifiers and wondered if anyone had some good recommendations (or some ones that they thought weren't good) in order to help me to choose.

Fortress has a Rowenta one that works very well and looks nice. We have 3.

mitsubishi are best but a llittle bit more expensive. It has a laundry button which you can also use to dry wet clothes handy for the rainy season. You will find them at Sogo Dept store

Again more expensive but came out top in a few write ups is the Hitachi, again with laundry drying function. We picked one up and been superb.
