I have heard that gastro like this can last about a week. If your baby is still eating and drinking and seems happy i would let it go another day or so. I would watch her energy, food intake and fever. Hope it gets better soon.

bananas, rice, plain applesauce and dry toast and chicken stock, plus her regular formula or breastmilk.

Ruth beat me to it. Banana is great for hardening poo. We can't even give it to our daughters as they get constipated. Our helper didn't know this when she started and gave our 8 month old half a banana. She didn't poo for two days. ;)

one other thing that is good for diarrehea is rice water. Boil rice like you would porridge and use the water to make her milk.

Also, my son who is 13months old recently had a similar experience, turned out to be a flu bug that disturbed his little stomach.

But I would advice you to take your baby to the doctor if it does not get better by another day. the biggest concern about diarrehea is dehydration. So keep feeding her with lots of water. Stop the juices if you have not already.

good luck!

Time to do a stool test. We suggest you revisit your doctor.
