Painting a bathroom suite

ORIGINAL POST

We're about to move in to our new apartment and the bathroom suites are pink! Someone told that there was a company here in HK that can spray a coating (of plastic ?) on top in white and that it makes a huge difference. I've tried to google searching but to no avail. Does any one know a company here that can do this?

Thanks.

There are 13 listed in the YP under "Bathroom Sanitaryware Resurfacing Services". Go to the YP website and copy this in. A few have websites which link from the YP page, e.g. http://www.yp.com.hk/sunwingceramic/

Sorry, no recommendations.

I painted my own (and the kitchen) and the difference is beyond amazing. I don't think I could have lived there if I didn't do it.

At the paint store on Hollywood Rd they sell tile paint. It's an epoxy of some sort that you mix together then paint the tile with, followed by basic waterproof wall paint (I choose white). I covered hideous brown tile and it looks great. It's been a year. I did it myself but a handyman can easily be employed for the purpose. If you intend to cover porcelein, like a tub, choose a company carefully: It looks like my toilet and tub were resurfaced previously and the coating is starting to chip off. Good luck!
