normally how much you spend for your car monthly? taxes? and other miscellaneous expenses?...I am talking with a free parking.

If you take into account, road tax, petrol, insurance, toll fees etc I reckon our car costs around $5,000 a month to run. Still cheaper than adding up 7 people on public transport/ taxis, plus extra school buses.

thanks guys, we are planning to move into another apartment maybe middle of this year when the school finish, and I am starting to ask friends, they mentioned Saikung (or along that area) becuase the apartments are bigger and you can have either roof or a garden, or can have the whole block. But then if so need to buy a car, thats why I am asking how much normally the expenses of having a car, monthly. And Cara been very helpful. My son goes to happy valley for school, and my hubby works along HK side as well.
