Taking Domestic Helper to Uk

ORIGINAL POST

We are thinking about taking a DHelper to Uk but we didn't have one here for 2 years so can't take ours. Is there any other option to take some other helper on a contract with us to uk? Does anyone have any experience with this or know friends? Thanks

why don't you sign a contract now and then you can take her? normally when you take your own helper in UK is no problem, they can easily get through.

abby, it's not so easy if you have not employed the helper for 2 years or more. purefit is talking about taking a helper back permanently to work, not just for a holiday.

purefit, it's not that easy. UK immigration will want to see proof of a previous contract that has lasted more than 2 years. Very difficult to get around that. They will also need to approve a new contract which needs to specify salary, working hours, holiday time, etc which need to be in alignment with UK law before issuing a visa.
