Hi all,
Looking at schools for my kindergarten level child. I am coming from Australia so the Australian school jumped out at me as the best option so far. Just wondering if anyone has sent kids there and what they thought of it? Are there any other Australian type schools apart from this one? Basically my preference would be a school that worked on the Australian school terms as opposed to the US/UK.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, my daughter goes to AISHK (Australian International School Hong Kong) - www.aishk.edu.hk and she is thoroughly happy. They work on the NSW curriculum and therefore are in line with the holidays. Having said that, there is a slight overlap this year due to easter not being combined in NSW and they have combined it here. My daughter started in Reception last year and is now in Prep and she just loves it. They have a great family community spirit and involve parents in everything, so you can have as much or as little to do with the school. Being an expat wife, I have made so many great friends & given the lifestyle is so transitional over here, the kids have a great buddy system for the new kids starting. I would definately put your child's name down now as there is a big waiting list and it's not cheap either. I also know people who send their kids to ESF schools (English Schools Foundation) and they seem pretty happy. I wanted the Aussie school so it's an easier transition into school when we go back to Australia.

Thanks Neenib. The other thing I am trying to get info on is how the debenture work? Is it just a bond you have to pay which is refunded down the track?
