Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here plays or know someone who plays D&D (Dungeons and Dragons)? I'd be interested in joining or creating a group to play with.
Failing that does anyone know of hobby shops in HK, in particular the types that specialise in board and role playing games?

The closest I have found is 188 Centre on 188 Wan Chai Road. They have figurines and such. But no D&D. Mostly manga/anime stuff and console gaming. However if you go there they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Try wargames.com.hk in Mong Kok, I went there they were shut (they open from 2:30 onwards I think), but they seem to stock what your after from what I could see peering in the wee window in their door.

I had a good look around and asked a few folks in the 188 Centre on 188 Wan Chai Road but while it contains a vast array of Japanese games, figures, computer stuff etc, there is no D&D to be found.

Hi guys,
Are any of you running a game out of interest? Finally in HK and wouldn't mind joining as a player. I normally run games but I wont have the time to do that for a while.

i put a seach in for hobbies and came up with this, any ladies in hong kong fancies learning the art of reborning dolls ????, ive been doing it for about 4 years, and thought it would be a good way of meeting other mums and ladies i live in clearwater bay, i can get the dolls in for practicing via the uk and ebay, anyone intersted pm me thanks jo x

Hi!
I have been playing for a long time differents rpgs especially d&d, whitewolf series, call of chtulhuu, L5R etc.
The only pb is I am french wich sucks... I have never played in english but I would be ready to experiment if somebody wants to try me out... I have been abroad for 5 years now and I am working in english so I guess I am not bad, I am just unsure about my ability to play in english, especially med fan terms, although I have many rpg books in english...
As you can believe it is hard enough to find rpg players, so french speaking ones seems pretty unlikely.

I gave up on RPGing here. No space and, seemingly, no time. I get my fix via boargames instead.

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone is still running a D&D type game... I actually use Pathfinder (v.similar to D&D 3.5 rule set). I'd be interested in playing or GMing if needed. My son (age 12) would love to join as well if it's a mixed age group... I've run games for ages 12+ and adult games.
Give a shout if there's anyone else in HK interested in starting a group or if you're in need of an experienced player and story-teller.

I came accross this discussion while I was looking for a plce to buy miniatures here in Hong Kong and it seems it's been quite inactive for some time but I wonder if thereis still ppl out there willing to play some D&D in Hong Kong.
I have been playing many rpgs for some time, the last time I DMed a D&D game (although in spanish) which we couldn't finish and it has been killing me since I spent quite a lot of time preparing it xD.
Well now I've sorta settled here in Hong Kong (and got married too xD) but I would like to start playing again. I've never played in english but I don't think it would be much of a problem.
If anyone is still running games, or want to start a party, I'd be interested in playing, let me know!

There are no places to my knowledge where you can buy D&D type minis in Hong Kong. My GM imported all of his from the US.
Our Pathfinder group is pretty full at the moment, but maybe a vacancy might open up one day.
