Has anyone travelled from Sydney to perth on the Indian Pacific train in Gold class?

Love to hear what the journey is like and if there is plenty to see.

Thanks Kazasia, we travelled to Beijing by train and it was very dull with very much the same scenery all the way so didn't want to repeat the experience only for 3 days.
