baby is almost 6 months old and is currently 50% BF and 50% s26 formula. We are going back to UK for hols soon and wanting to change to a formula that you can readily buy here (ie in parkn) and also UK so we dont have to lug formula across the world! Anyone know of as good one.... also if we cant find one is it ok to switch to a uk one just for the trip - 2 weeks long - and then back again? thanks!

For some reason we found there are different types of the same brand. For example our daughter has Cow and Gate here, a brand regularly found in the UK. But C&G in the UK has different types not found here and vice versa. We ended up taking our formula with us last time........

Aptamil is the same here and in UK - we moved to HK when ours were 5 mnths old - used that. Ditto Cow and Gate.

great thanks....how shakk i change to aptamil from s26...mixing the 2 for a while...adding more and more aptamil...or just swap totally suddenly?

try to give Aptamil and see how it goes down? if the baby likes it just go with it, if not... hmm... I probably would try one feed Aptamil (say an early afternoon one?), not the important morning and eve ones? I suspect they all taste pretty similar so fingers crossed the baby takes to it straight away! you can get Aptamil in Mannings and Taste and I think most P&S..

Have a check on both HK and UK websites - think you will find that's not the case at all with C&G. Confirmed by their UK customer service when we emailed last November.

Correction. What we have is Similac Organic. Not Enfamil.
