Hi there,
I know there are so many cute salons doing very reasonably priced blowdrys in HK. But, I cant help but feeling disapointed each time. I want big (not toooo big) bouncy "expensive" looking hair and I just end up with straight, slightly straggly looking, kind of shiny hair.
I do try and explain each time to different stylists but the same thing happens.
However, the other day I caved in and had a proper blowdry with an amazing western hairdresser who completely understood my dilema. I really felt great when I left and it lasted for 2 days rather than 2 hours. If only I could look like that everyday!! Ha ha!
So, rather than going to his salon every morning (I wish) I want to get a few girls together to have a "Blowdry Class" to learn how to get such results at home.
If you are interested let me know :)

Oh, I have something to say about Hong Kong hair salon!
I have lived in the US for the last few years. The kind of highlight I get in the state either look natural or shape (depends on the color I choose) and blend in with the rest of my hair. But the highlight in HK is rather chunky. It's hard to do highlight for myself. I have done it for frds back in college. I wonder if there are girls with similar ideas/interest and want to get together to do hair for each others. Or any classes available.
So, please count me in. Thanks in advance!

Apply a volume boosting spray to damp hair and blow dry with your head upside down to create root lift
Once the hair is dry, divide into sections and set on large Velcro rollers, leaving them in until completely cool
Remove the rollers and brush out the curls to create a full movement. sometimes brushing your hair upside down gives extra root lift.
To emphasize the fullness of your hair, pin the front section of hair away from your face gently backcombing at the roots before securing
Keep your look full of body and glamorous with a shine spray.
