my 18month old daughter has been on NANHA-2 (NEstle) since she was 12 months. although we know NESTLE has a follow on milk after 12 months after NANHA-2
(which is for 7+months) we havent changed as we're told by the dr. that the follow on milk is all the same and just a gimmick.
i still feel that perhaps she is older now and her nutrient requirements are changing e.g. more calcium, iron, protein, i would like to change to a follow on formula for over 12months. i have been to bumps to babes and they have HIPP organice ready made growing up milk. the label says that this formula can be given after any other formula brands. so i'm wondering whether i should start giving my daughter the HIPP orgnanic milk. some of the ingredients are the same as NANHA-w though HIPP doesnt mention any DHA or ARA.
Does anyone have any advice on whether to change the formula? Thanks.
In addition, I still give my daughter 2 formula a day and one bottle of cow's milk per day. When do you normally take the toddler's off formula milk? I heard that in HK they give formula to 3 years old.

At 18 months there's no real need for a follow-on formula as long as your daughter is eating a diverse diet of solids plus plenty of milk. Your easiest course of action may be to wean her off the formula.

I bought Hipp Organic follow on milk for my 13 month old. he absolutely refuses to drink it.
he drinks cows milk, sometimes plain, sometimes as a milk shake with apples or papayas added
