Hi,
I am looking to rent a couple of good mountain bikes for a day...planning to spend the day in Lantau/NT for some action...
would really appreciate any pointers to a place which can rent a mountain bike and expected hire charges...

If you're planning to bike on Lantau, your best bet is probably the Friendly Bicycle Shop (tel. 2984-2278) located in the street behind the Macdonalds next to the Mui Wo ferry pier - walk to the left of Macdonalds, past the China Bear pub and turn right. The bike shop is on the right hand side of the street. No idea of cost, but won't be much and they have a selection of mtn bikes for hire - prob of varied quality.
