Looking for a good a reliable jeweler to help me to set an expensive diamond into a gold ring
It is a relative big diamond (with GIA laser print) and I’m looking for a jeweler that I feel comfortable to leave the stone with him / her
Any recommendations?

Ellis Jewelers in Stanley does beautiful work. My mother had pearl earrings, a pendant, and a ring made and was very pleased. Other friends have also had jewelry made with good results. Probably not the cheapest place, but the quality of their materials and workmanship is consistently high. When I have been there, there has always been a constant stream of people picking things up and singing their praises. Mr. Ellis is very down to earth, modest, and not at all pushy. The store is up the hill from Stanley Market, across from the bus terminal at the corner.
