You can find big Belkin surge protectors at Foresoon in Sheung Wan or at the WCCC. Can't remember seeing 10 or 12 though.

- Foresoon Computer. Shop 2A&B, Ground Floor, 5 Wing Lok Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

- Wan Chai Computer Centre on Hennessy Road above the Wan Chai MTR

WCCC = Wan Chai Computer Centre. Big computer mall on top of the Wan Chai MTR. The only bigger one is Golden Arcade in Sham Shui Po on the KL side.

Glad it worked out. I have two of those exact ones.

I think it may simply be a size thing. The UK sockets are pretty big and you could fit a 10-12 US plugs in the same space as 8 UK ones. I had 12 socket APC surge protectors in the UK. They had 6 grounded three prong sockets (3 per side) and a row of 6 two prong ungrounded down the middle. No way you could cram that into the same space with UK size sockets.

Cable management tip: I hate all those cables under our two desks (two PCs, peripherals etc etc...) so I bought a plywood storage box at IKEA and drilled a dozen large holes in it with a router and a drill. Now I have my surge protectors inside and all the excess from all the cables inside as well. So instead of spaghetti, I have a nice box with cables running to it. It doubles as a nice footrest. I also bought some of those cable run things at IKEA so that cable bundles look neat.
