Two weeks ago, I started giving baby rice cereal to my 6 months old baby. He poo once a day. Slowly, I introduce carrot - no problem. But then since he enjoys the solid so much, he refused to drink his milk anymore, so I mix a bit of milk cereal in his bottle. He was still fine. Then two days ago I increased the amount of veggie and try the rice cereal in the morning as well. After that day, he poo after every meals (4 times yesterday). Is that normal? His poo becomes a bit watery as well. My helper said that was too much veggie for my baby. Should I cut it back? I am following Gina Ford weaning baby book.

Doesn't sound unusual. All babies have different tolerances for hard/soft stool. For example ours cannot have any banana and they have to have prunes every day or they get hard stools. Lots of veggies will tend to make baby poo softer.
I would recommend giving some banana since this tends to harden the stool. Eventually you'll find the right mix for your baby.
As for the milk, try giving it first, making sure there is no other food in evidence. That way baby will drink the milk while hungry. Babies under one should typically have 14 or more ounces of milk a day.
