Going to visit Disney this week with 2.5year old and newborn. Don't think we'll be able to spend all day there so looking for advice from someone who has been before. What are the "must-see" attractions for the 2-3year age group and any other Disney tips from those who know would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with Cara, Lion Knight show is fab as is Golden Mickeys show. My 3 yrs old loves all of the rides especially if you have a girl aim for photos with Snow White etc that come out to the right of the castle - they are their for sure at 3pm but many other times too. We also love the Honeypotts Ride with Winnie the Pooh, and also Adventureland boat ride to see the animals. The parade is excellent at 3.30pm even if you miss some of the rides out. By the way, we take in snacks, sandwiches for our little ones and drinks which cuts down the cost of the day.
Have a wonderful day.

can rent baby pushchairs if you're not taking your own but take a couple of umbrellas for shade for the little ones as it's starting to get pretty hot now and most attractions are out in the open (queing). Don't think your new born will appreciate Lion King as it's very loud and dark so keep an eye on your 2.5 year old to help him/her enjoy the show.

We just went yesterday with a 4.5 year old and a 22 month old. The park was not even 50% full even when we turned up at 2.15 pm. The Lion King show is being renovated (reopens 12th Apr) and so is Mickey Mouse's house. Go and see the Golden Mickeys but do not take a newborn in as Cara mentioned, it it very loud and try not to sit at the side of the theatre where the speakers are. If you're going during a weekday should be very quiet so no need to wait at all for rides and photos with the characters. The rental of pushchairs is HKD100 but you only get HKD50 back at end of the day. I think most of the rides are aimed at 2-5 years old except Space Mountain. Hopefully you are bringing someone else with you to look after your newborn otherwise it would be a bit difficult to go on the rides together with your other child. The Winnie Pooh ride, Cinderella's carousel, Dumbo the flying elephant, Mad Hatter Tea Cups (spinning). Buzz Lightyear ride/game and the jungle river cruise are good for a young child but of course you must be with him/her as they can still get scared. And do bring some snacks and drinks as most of the stuff served are fried or if you prefer they do have Chinese. Its a small world is scheduled to open on 28th April.

Hope that helps.

my son is 2 years old, he never likes the stage shows....its not about the sound I guess but its too dark when, I tried twice to let him but no success. Golden Mickeys is quite good. And those mascots normally stays at the Fantasia garden.
yeah for snacks, you prefer to bring for you little one.....its not only about the fried stuffs, they are way so expensive, and doesn't taste so good. But then you can't bring so much food also, they dont allow it, they check bags at the entrance.
