I need advice....
A week ago we bought an infant toy (teether/massager) that is supposed to soothe my 6-month old baby. We excitedly gave it to him while he's on his cot and the next thing you know.... his mouth is bleeding, he got cuts on his mouth. We've got pictures and we went to the doctor as he couldn't feed properly and was crying non-stop. I've complaint to the store and i was passed around from one department to another and they promise that they will contact me. I still haven't heard from them until now.
If i've got the resources, I would like to sue them, but we are talking about one of the biggest baby/toy store in hk and I just don't know what to do next. I want a refund, compensation for the doctor's fee and sleepless nights and of course, for the product to be removed from the shelves. Can the consumer council help me or they will just waste my time?
What to do next?
I can't believe that Infant Toy Safety is seems to non-existent in HK.
