Hi. I work full-time in Hong Kong but am looking at spending 1-2 weeks in July or August of this year working with children or helping with a building or health project. I am still researching and haven't decided on the destination yet, either in Asia or Africa.
Please can anyone offer any advice or any organisation they found particularly helpful? Any help is appreciated.

You can contact World Vision. My friend works for World Vision and he trains the staff there to run an orphanage for disabled/ retarded kids in Guangxi (west of Canton) in the mainland. I worked there as a volunteer and it's the most amazing experience.
