How long do you usually in the sauna, and is it ok to do both in a day? Which one is better?

Where I come from the dry sauna (a bit of a misnomer) is prevalent, but I have experience of both.

You can stay in for a long time (up to an hour?) if you want. Just remember to stay hydrated. I typically give it 20 minutes. If I'm not showering alone I might do 15->ice cold shower->15->ice cold shower and so forth. Where I come from rolling in the snow or even diving in to a hole in the ice on a lake is not unusual as a break.

Dry saunas have higher temperatures and people not used to them may feel breathing in the hot air is a bit unpleasant.

Steam saunas are good for your airways. I prefer them myself.

"Which one is better?"

Very much a personal preference.
