can anyone recommend a good and affordable place to buy quality carpets/rugs

i know the shops on wyndham street but they seem expensive and intimidating. is there another option?

This might be inconvenient, but there's a lovely carpet/rug shop in the centre of Sai Kung which is having a closing down sale (aren't they always?). we got a couple of lovely ones there at a great price.

Try calling Hayat Khizar at 9732 6870 or 9858 4208. He and his crew come out in their van and show you the rugs.


Don't worry, they do have a shop. It's not stuff that fell out the back of a lorry. Our neighbor bought some stuff from them. Good prices, service minded and knowledgeable.
