Hi, anybody been to Langkawi recently? I'm planning a long weekend there but don't want to waste all day getting there and another day getting back to HK ... any suggestions?

Don't believe there are any direct flights other than high season when i think Malaysia has them. Only option is to go some place else i'm afraid if you don't want to do the travel time.

pretty sure there are direct flights but charter (I remember a friend booking one) - have a look at travel agents website. It is a long flight tho - something like 4.5 hours I believe so prob a bit far for a weekend.
