Husband will work in Tsuen Wan, where to live with twin 2 year-old toddlers?

I'm an American whose husband will be working in Tsuen Wan, and the company is going to move us to HK. I have heard that Sai Kung, Clearwater Bay, and Stanley are nice places to live (greener, less pollution than Mid-Levels). Not sure of allowance yet though probably at least 80-90K plus a car. I have twin 2 year-old boys. Are there good preschools in these areas (they would start next year at age 3). How is the commute to Tsuen Wan from these 3 places? Are there clubs with facilities and swimming pools that we can join? Any other advice on where to live with young children would be appreciated.

Tsuen Wan is probably not an ideal place to live as it's really hectic and fairly pollutted. Tsuen Wan is quite a large town out in the New Territories (large for Hong Kong) but here's a little something on main shopping complex and high rise flats in 'Discovery Park' (you'll find bus no. routes for commuting):

Sai Kung and Clearwater Bay would be nice although it might be a little far travelling from Stanley.

When we first came to HK, we stayed in serviced apartments at Tsuen Wan until we moved to where we are now, Kowloon Tong. We wanted to be in proximity of the school here, hence our choice. From Tsuen Wan to K'Tong, the train ride was around 20-30 mins, so by car it would only be around 15 minutes. If you go out to Clearwater Bay, you are adding on maybe around 20-30 tops, more for Sai Kung. We really like K'Tong as it's a quiet area and great access to the MTR/KCR and shopping centres. Good parks nearby. Our complex has everything you need. You will probably want to have 2 cars if you are out at Sai Kung or CWB if you husband will be commuting by car to work as it's quite a way out. We are purchasing a car very soon and by living in K'Tong, we have a short drive to the beaches at CWB & Sai Kung. We can shoot up to the New Territories country parks on the weekends easily enough. Here we don't feel so closed in yet we are within access to everything. We chose to be close to the school for communting and I think we really made the best choice for us. Good Luck. It's a frustrating process trying to get it just right, in the end you will know and just go with what feels comfortable and practical for you.
