Hi all,
My fiancee and I have been living in Hong Kong for more than two years, both on our own work permits sourced through our respective companies.
After our wedding in July, will my (by then) wife be able to work in Hong Kong based on being married to someone with a work permit rather than needing her own?

Yes, its called a dependent visa and should be no problem at all to get. just check with immigration visa

Alternatively, you can also be a dependant under your wife's visa.

As the above posters have said, either of you can be the dependant but why change the status - if you wife is changing her name then just change the name on her work permit. If she is not don't do anything other than each of you notify the relevant Govt department that you are married.
