How to wash baby's dishes?

ORIGINAL POST

I know that for babies under 1 years old we are supposed to steam sterilize/boil all their eating utensils, bowls, cups, bottles, etc., but what about babies over the age of 1?

Unfortunately I dont have a dishwasher, and the hot water supply in the kitchen is pretty iffy.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

so even if we usually wash our dishes in cold water (no choice sometimes), it will be okay for baby?

Our hot water supply was cut off for one day (broken pipe)

We washed all our dishes (adult and baby) in cold soapy water, rinsed with cold water, then boiled a pot onthe stove and rinsed them all with hot water.

Clean with soap and water and you'll be fine.
