1. Looking For A Place to Stay Next Week


My husband and I have accepted jobs in Hong Kong so we are coming this Saturday and staying through Tuesday to sign our contracts, look at housing, etc. We will be bringing our young daughters along with two other adults, and we are looking for a short term apartment rental with a kitchenette and enough room to house us all. Any recommendations? We'd like to do it fairly cheaply, and wouldn't mind being out in the New Territories as that is where we will both be working come August.


2. Looking for A DH for August


We will also be looking to find a dh starting in August so if anyone is leaving and has an excellent dh that they are looking to find a job for, we would be delighted to meet with her and start those proceedings as well. I know it is unlikely, but we would be thrilled if we could find someone who speaks Mandarin as our daughters are both bilingual and we don't want them to lose their Chinese.


3. Looking for a Good Property Agent


We are thinking that we may be living in the Tai Po area, maybe in one of the villages so we can rent a bigger place on a budget and also have nice surroundings for our young daughters. If anyone has any recommendations for property agents, we'd like to set something up for that as well.


4. May Be Wanting To Buy a Car


We also may be interested in purchasing a used car for when we arrive in August so if you know of people who are leaving and want to sell their car at a good price, we're interested in hearing about it.


5. Looking for a Company to Move Our Stuff From Guangzhou to China and also a Storage Place


Any recommendations on places that are not outrageous?
