Does anyone know where to buy good quality fishing gear ie reels, rods, lures and quality power tools.

There is a fishing gear shop on one of the side streets in Wanchai just of Queens Road East, near the Hopewell center. Sorry I cant be more specific, but I only went there once with friend and I really cant remember exactly which street its on or its name. So you would probably be better off with IslandHoppers advice.

Yeah I think thats the one, its up a flight of stairs and was a pretty big shop from what I remember. I cannot imagine there being to many fishing gear shops located in wanchai side streets. Checked a map and it looks like the one I visited.

Po Kee Fishing Tacklle in Hillier Street 1/f can't remember the exact address. Ask for Virgil he knows his stuff. there is another chain called Triton that have shops in Wanchai (Ship Steet), Yau Ma Tei ( Ferry Street ), To Kwa Wan (Sung Wong Toi Road) and Tuen Mun (San Tsing Street).


there are also some good shops in Shenzhen. tjhere will be a few of our fishing group going there friday evening for tackle shopping then dinner. Check out our forum
