Koh Phi Phi hotel recommendation

We are heading to Koh Phi Phi for a week in May. This will be our last trip before baby. We are looking for a nice relaxing hotel with a pool.

Any recommendations for us?

I don't have a specific recommendation but here are some thoughts.


As far as I remember (though it was a while ago now), there are only 2-3 hotels near the "downtown" parts with pools.


Both times I've been to Phi Phi we just found hotels when we got to the ferry.


My final comment is that Phi Phi always felt more like a backpacker destination than a hotel with pool place.

it is what someone told me as well when we were thinking of going - think backpackers rather than four seasons sort of place. Not sure this is what you want for your last trip before a baby!! I know I didnt!

Thanks for your tips. We did a day trip to Phi Phi last time we were in Phuket. We are backpackers and really liked the laid back vibe, the great snorkeling and gorgeous sand beaches. I wish we could go to the Four Seasons!:)


Trip plans have changed anyways and we are heading to Hawaii!
