visa to macau for a dependent hk id-holder?

hiya..anyone knows if a dependent hk id-holder needs a visa to go to macau?..and any good suggestions on sightseeing-hotels-dining and wining over there?..cheers!

thanks ed...when i go through the immigration, i only show them my hk-id (visa-free) but i dont know if the dependent can show his dependent-id ONLY and get visa-free access or does he have to take his passport with him too...?
