I recently shaved my head and I am a little concerned about summer in HK and a fairly exposed noggin.

Sunscreen on really short hair, yes or no?

Is there something I can put on my head and leave on to keep it from burning/drying out, aside from a hat/scarf?

Wella has a product specifically for sun protection. It is called Bi Phase spray and is not oily and should serve your needs very effectively. Hope this helps...Jon.
