LOOKING FOR VENUE

we are planning to gv a dinner-and-dance for 40-50 people shortly before christmas. Willing to pay up to HKD1,200.- /head which by my standard is plenty. But 5 star htls want 2-4 times that. We want excellent food, nice venue (not too shabby), enough space for a small dance floor, preferably without having to take up a mortgage ! Any suggestion wud be greatly appreciated.

Fringe Club roof top. Before Xmas won't be too cold in HK for the roof top too.


The new place in Wanchai -- The Pawn -- has a big place too with balconies. They're also developing a roof garden which I think should be ready by that time.

There's this place in Central that I know of.. I have not been there.. the GM just sent me some information about the place. It seems a fit to your requirements. If you're interested I can send you the packages available.

VENUE

• 2 rooms that can be opened in to one room, or separated for different events and private parties each with their own DJ booth and hi quality sound system

• Flats-screen tv’s around the venue showing hip visuals and projectors behind the DJ booth and at lift lobby entrance

• The venue can be described as “Urban Chic” with polished concrete walls and floorings mixed with gothic textured wallpaper, dark wooden finishes and scattered dark glass chandeliers

• Around the seating areas are various textures walls in wallpaper & wood finishes and chandelier lighting to add the gothic touch. Both rooms have ample dance-floor space which beats most other clubs in Hong Kong

THE DEMOGRAPHIC

Aiming for a broad base of clientele as the venue will offer differing music styles, scheduled evenings and special events. Additionally the venue can be hired by room or exclusively for fashion shows, product launches, corporate events.

CONCEPT

To introduce a ‘real’ club back in to central where we can offer popular music but also offer more progressive styles that are being recognized globally.

We will bring in International DJ’s/artistes 1-2 times a month to establish ourselves as a top clubbing venue in Hong Kong catering for an international crowd of regular partygoers that keep up with the times.

MUSIC

• 2 rooms available which can offer 2 styles of music regularly whether it is House, Electro, Trance, Hip Hop, R & B…

• We can attract crowds with all tastes as we intend to offer a full range of music styles into the venue and schedule them so the right crowd know when to come at the right time.

EVENTS

Additional to International DJ events – CLIQ will hold its own-styled events for example;

• ‘Girls Night In’ where a girls only night will on an early week night once a month will have Girlie Movies/soundtracks shown where they can dress down and enjoy beauty treatments over snacks and a bottle of wine whilst they catch up with the latest gossip with friends

• Live musical accompaniment to the DJ to add that extra energy to week nights
