On Thursday April 17 228, I bought in Kowloon a Pilot Case on wheels of the brand "Kamnon". I was told that it was in leather and that I had a guarantee of one year.
On Saturday April 19 2008, heavy rain felt in Hong Kong and I was walking home at the moment.
On Tuesday April 22 2008, the bottom of the Pilot Case collapsed on the wheels making it completely useless.
The following day I returned to the shop I bought the Pilot case. They refused to replace it saying that they were "only" vendors and not the manufacturer and that anyway damaged caused by the rain was not covered. And as everyone knows it's raining a lot in Hong Kong.
What legal advice could you give me. Is there no protection for consumers right in HK
thanks
