Has anyone who had booked on Oasis Airline with a credit card several weeks before before the liquidation found they have had a couple of grand taken out of their account by them days after they had bought their ticket(s)? Have you checked your credit card statement?

This has just happened to me and as I don't believe there is anyone at Oasis who will pick up the phone it is in the hands of my Credit Card company. They will have the same problem I have.

If you booked by credit card, you can get a refund, see thread, not sure it applies to all credit cards, but hsbc visa seem to be crediting back the amount.

thanks Digital Blonde.

BURP - thats right - you can get your money back. Just call your card issuing bank and tell them that you want to 'chargeback"

It was a business that went bankrupt and the liquidation wasn't well handled at all.

I wouldn't call it a scam though. Many new expats or tourists in Asia or China like to talk about these gallery scams, tea house scams to the point they're ruining their time or trip here. I've seen more than once friendly locals offering help to lost looking tourists who rudely reply 'no'.
