Are there any good doctors in TC? Where is the closest hospital?

We are looking to move there soon and are expecting our first baby. Interested to know what the general health services are like.

I have recently moved to Tung Chung and have used the local doctors here covered by our health insurance(UMP and Quality HEalth Care) I have a friend who went to a good Australian trained doctor in Discovery Bay who she was very happy with. I have a friend who had to take her doctor to the emergency room for stitches yesterday and she took an Ambulance to Tsing Yi and was happy with that. I didn't have my children in Hong Kong but know of several people who lived in Tung Chung and have had children so it seems to work. Some have gone to a hospital on the Peak and others closer by. So far I have been happy with the health services and every thing else in Tung Chung. We love it here and feel very well provided for.
