playing basketball for teenagers

Does anybody know of a place where a child of 16 years old can play in a basketball team, and also ref for younger players of basketball. Preferably on the kowloon side but HK side is fine if it is not just asian, looking for more of a western children's team so my son can get more involved in sport in HK and make some friends, as his school does not do too much in the sporting arena.

I would strongly recommend a company called "Play Sport". I have used this company a couple of times, my friends also, I have only ever heard glowing reports about them and I personally was most satisfied with their service.


They offer organised sports (team, small group, individual) for mainly primary school / lower secondary, also some for pre-school and some for older teens / adults. Mainly classes, also private tutorial.


The language of instruction is English, the top man is a great guy called Joe Livesey from the UK, he really gets results. They definitely do basketball, as well as a range of other sports. What they are offering is so attractive, it makes me wish I was about 12 again so that I could join in ...
