sleeping pill

Hello,

Has anyone ever found "non-benzodiazepine" sleeping pills (known as Ambien, Sonata, and Lunesta) over the counter in HK? Or even in pharmacies?

I asked my local doctor and he said, oddly, they don't exist because he's never heard of them.

Thank you!

I've brought Zopiclone here (which I think is similar to Ambien, though you'd need to check the differences on the internet - i'm not a doctor or pharmacist - I think they come from the same drug group). I just asked for it in one of the smaller pharmacies. It's not recommended for everyday use though.

Ambien is zolpidem I think - it might be worth asking for it by it's generic name, as the trade names vary from country to country.
