Hi all,

I am thinking to let my son join activities that can build up his self confidence. Any ideas what activities that are good for this? Thanks, cinn

How old is your son?

Most athletic activities build up self-confidence, assuming you have a good coach who promotes participation and hard work.

Check out Multisport.com.hk They have a lot of activites for all ages. Great in building confidence and teaches them some aspect of team sports, etc

Yes I agree with axptguy38 that most athletic activities build up self confidence. Or is it possible to check with your son what sports he likes? If he is enjoying himself at the same time then I think the effect is double. Good luck.

Think Socatots is the best activity ever in this regard. Although we've been impressed by many of the other activity companies that we've used for our children, Socatots has blown us away.

Or how about boyscouts? Team work, physical training, discipline etc. I am sure they have it in Bangkok too, yes?

Hi all, thanks a lot for the reply... :)). My son is 4 years old. He is currently going to Socatots on Saturday. I am thinking I want to let him have one more activity during the weekday afternoon. Boyscouts sounds good, I will try to find whether they have it in Bkk here. Another option I consider is taekwondo or something like that... Will it be to young for him to join the taekwondo?

Personally I m not sure about taekwondo.... it is a very stictly disciplined sport so if I were you I dont want my child to engage that kind of sport so early. But if he likes it, then yes may be. Still think its better to wait when he is a bit older.
