I am looking for the light fitting for the whole apartment, i.e. chandelier, pendant type, lamp shade for the table lamp, both for the adults' and children's rooms, and I just CANNOT find nice stuff with good taste. I would rather not get into the argument of what is good taste here, but I have been to IKEA, Morrison Hill Road, Queens Road East, Ap Lei Chau, and they seemed to me they were all too tacky.
I know I am being difficult, but could anyone please tell me where I can find a nice, chic lighting fixture?
Thank you so much in advance

My taste may not be yours but I have bought lovely lamps from Luminiere on Wellington Street, on the left as you go up and just before you turn into Lyndhurst Street. I think they also have a shop in Ocean Terminal in TST.
Have also bought lamps from Vantage Lights in Sai Kung.

You could try B&Q at MegaBox - they look to have a good sized lighting section.

There's a ton of lighting stores close to the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Also some lighting shops on Lockhardt Road in Wanchai. Some bad taste lights, but there is a selection of more subdued lights. If price is not a problem, check out the PLC shop near the corner of Lockhardt and Fleming as they have a lot of more subtle designer style lights.
