english radio stations

do i find english radio stations on AM or FM in HK? i went to buy a clock radio today and it was only FM. the guy told me that no english radio stations can be found on FM. only AM. but then he said he wasn't really sure.... anyone know? thanks!


oh just to add... for good transmission in midlevels...

With AM you can get BBC. With FM you can get local English radio stations.

Radio 3 & 4 are broadcasted in English. You can either listen to it thru yr computer or the frequency is listed there. There shld be one more, let me check.

RTHK, it can be received by FM of course but it is also broadcasted over the net. May be i misunderstand yr question?
