We are going to chinese wedding tomorrow or rather cocktails before the reception, as we have something on later. Reading some of the threads on here, seems $500 would be ok to give in the red packet......??? Although our packet is gold does that mean something else? Anyway we were going to put the packet inside a card, but is there normally a table that you leave it on or do you hand directly to the bride/groom/ family etc. Any advice welcome.
