I need to go back to Immigration to collect HKID card - can anyone tell me the process of collection - which window do you go to?

Its really easy, you have already done the difficult bit which is the application, all you do is go to the eighth floor, where you applied for it, there is a collection counter for ID cards, you hand over your temporary ID and then wait 10-15 minutes for them to call your name and pick up the actual card. I am not sure what the exact number of the window is, but it is clearly marked.

No Problem, I've done the whole ID card thing at least eight times now, thats how often I have lost the card in over thirty years of living in Hong Kong, most of them during my teens. And I have to say picking up an ID card is the simplest thing you can do at the immigration department.
