Born in Scandinavia, living 20 years in China / Hong Kong... and going num!


Thursday 15 May... Our company receive an e-mail from a many year Hong Kong supplier informing... DELAY DELAY of pending orders.


Reason... 50% out of their 300 workers in Canton factory comes from the earthquake area... all gone home to help friend and family.


Friday 16 May morning... meeting with supplier... conclution... yes a few workers was sadly hit by this tragedy... but "missing raw materials" was the real reason for delay!


No further comment!

Hey, all of us who have been here long enough and are working with factories know that they use any excuse to hide the real reason. That's why I'm going up to the factory myself to see what's going on. I could write a book about excuses I have received. Hair raising...
