Does anyone know how to get around the 18 month minimum contract period for Now TV. I have been in HK for almost 2 years, but don't know for how much longer. Don't want to get stuck with long contract. Any suggestions? (legal ones pls).

Cheers,

JP

You can pay for your channels month by month. It will just cost more.

I was looking for now tv but only baby tv and disney channels. Got a contract for only 1 year for hkd55, so my guess is to go to those guys on the side walks and ask them. I also found out that different salespersons give you very different answers in regards to same packages. So, don't give up and ask a lot of diferent guys including their hotline.

trouble with this company is that you always tell the sales rep that you (for example like me) don't want to go much over $200 p/m but end up buying a lot of additional channels for what seem like great prices and end up paying way over $300 p/m...

don't think you can get out of a contract unless you just don't care and just skip the country.

Is that the company's problem or your problem for not sticking to your budget?
