You mean the vacuum bags? I just discovered them. I love them. I bought these pre-folded square-ish boxes with the plastic attached inside at Price Rite. The plastic seems reasonable- I can't tell whether its good quality or not.

I saw them at Wellcome of all places.

You will see when the air starts getting inside then they are not of good quality. But generally they should be fine. Yes, price-rite is a good place for economical home products. Sort of the local IKEA if you like.

Thanks for the information about those.
Do you think they'd be a good idea for saving space when it come to sending our stuff back home?

These bags only seem to work for a short time. They certainly reduce the volume intially, but over time the seal opens.

This depends on the quality. We have some that we bought in the US that have kept the seal for months and months.

I saw some in Wing On which come with a 1 year warranty - more expensive than those in Price Rite but I guess the quality is better...

Would any vacuum cleaner be suitable for them?

Typically yes xox. You can also lie down on the bag and press the air out, although this gives less of a negative pressure.
