There are many pearl stalls in the Jade Market, and they stock several different qualities, from very cheap to expensive.

Ming Shop Pearl at 46A Main Street in Stanley Market is good, too. Honest and no haggling over prices, which makes for a nice change.

Stanley is however much more expensive than Jade market - i would go to jade market - if however you want to be 100% sure what you are buying then go to a "proper" jewellry store...

Not sure what type of pearls you are looking for but I am in the pearl business. I do not have "classic" pearls, my line is contemporary and fashionable. PM me if you would like more information. The HK branch of the company lauches this coming week!


If a classic stand is what you are after then Rio Pearl in Kowloon is a great choice.
