I'm wanting a good recipe to make really moist yummy cakes. I've heard Nigella has a good one. Does anyone have a great recipe?

Most sponge cakes should be moist if you make them correctly - technique and ingredients are everything - just let me know what type of cake - choc, carrot, plain, fruit etc etc and I can help.
Also, any cakes made with almond meal/ground almonds will be very moist.

Hi AimeeJ,
Thank you for helping me with a recipe.
I would like to make a birthday cake for my daughter. I'll probably try to make a teddy bear-shaped cake either chocolate or vanilla flavoured. I will want to ice it, but my cake recipes are a little too dry. I want a delicious, moist recipe.
I would appreciate any help / suggestions.
Thanks!

xox, I've pm'd you the vanilla sponge recipe - I've just sent the sponge part, not the icing, and I can send you the choc variation if you want.
4G - Let me have a think - I am sure I've got one somewhere.

4G - I have one - but I personally haven't done it, it came from a baking friend (for chocolate cake).
I'd imagine that Flapjacks (using a good quality muesli with syrup and soya margarine) would work well.
