As an aussie living here in Hong Kong I miss my Witchery, Sportsgirl etc chainstores. I have been unable to find anything comparable to these here. Does anyone know of anywhere that is similar??? Thank you.

You will find pretty much any style in HK. PErhaps not those exact ones. You'll have to look around.

I was in "Delay No Mall" (yes, very silly name) in CWB yesterday and they had some interesting selections. I suggest you roam around the CWB malls for a day and see what you find.

Hi Clemo,

The closest you will find to Witchery and Sportsgirl here in HKG will be Mango, Zara and H&M.

There is a Next at Sha Tin and if you go to Elements above Kowloon Station after work H & M and Zara are lovely with no queues and everything is on the racks rather than the floor. There also look to be several other nice stores there (although alot are at the higher end).

clemo, if you are new to HK and don't speak Chinese, then don't ask anyone where "delay no mall" is, as it sounds the same as an obscenity in Cantonese (deliberate marketing tactic)..just a warning so taxi drivers won't curse at you or laugh thier head off at you :)

Wow thanks mixeymum. I didn't know that. I guess I'll just ask them to take me to IKEA. ;)

Thanks everyone, have been to the places you have suggested, just thought maybe there were places I didn't know about. I do like the sound of Elements though without the queues.

Hi Clemo,

I am in the same situation. It's amazing - all that stuff seems to be made in China, I sort of expected to see the shops here. What I would do for an hour in Witchery!!

Elements is really good as it is all geared up to be this huge, fashionable mall...but no one really goes there yet. Zara, Mango, H & M, Marks and Spencer, French Connection just about covers my options (being an Aussie size 12-14!).

Times Square in CWB has a few other good shops. There is also the Japanese store MUJI nearby - have found a few lovely pieces there.
