Notary in Hong Kong

I am taking my children from the US to Mexico this summer without my husband and was told that I may need a notarized letter from my husband saying this is okay with him.

Is there anywhere to get a US notary besides the US Consulate? Do you think a HK notary is okay? If so, where does one get that?

Has anyone had this problem before?

This is quite a common thing for the US since there are so many issues with custody cases.

Try calling a legal firm like Haldanes.

Hi Scoobydoo, I also needed to have some legal documents done and simply looked through the yellowpages. Its amazing how much you'll get ripped off at some lawfirms. I finally found one that was actually the most affordable and they knew exactly what I needed. If you want the contact info just message me.

Yeah I think a HK notary is fine, but if you can avoid the law firms, its really expensive for what amounts to not very much work. My opinion is a consulate is better, if they do it that is.
